Job summary

Dixon Hall in Toronto is seeking a Job Developer to support clients with job search, matching, placement and retention. You will organize job fairs, workshops, and employer events while tracking outcomes for up to 12 months and collaborating with partners to connect participants with sustainable work.

You will report to the Manager, Strategic Engagement and Partnership, contributing to a safe, inclusive environment and meeting program goals within the Employment and Settlement Services

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in marketing or business administration.
• 3–4 years in adult education or related trainings in multiple sectors.
• Knowledge of labour markets and barriers to employment.
• Experience with unemployed or marginally housed individuals is a plus.
• MS Office proficiency and data handling skills.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada; Vulnerable Sector Screening required.

Responsibilities

• Intake and oversee a caseload of job-ready clients with ongoing coaching.
• Conduct assessments and develop workshops based on program requirements.
• Create service plans and guide clients through employment stages.
• Negotiate ERFS with employers and monitor compliance.
• Organize job fairs, workshops, and employer events with stakeholders.
• Follow up for 12 months to monitor job retention and outcomes.
