Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Vancouver is seeking a Caregiver to provide hands-on support, build meaningful relationships and brighten every day for residents. You will assist with daily activities, follow individualized care plans and promote safety and independence.

The role includes engaging residents, supporting dining services and maintaining a welcoming environment, with emphasis on memory care for residents with memory loss.

Qualifications

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and personal care.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.

What We're Looking For:

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18+
• CPR/First Aid (or ability to obtain)
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills

Pay Range:

21.70 - 27.20

Employment Type: Casual

This position is classified as a casual role. Casual employees work on an as-needed basis with no guaranteed hours and are not considered permanent employees. Employment is not guaranteed for any specific duration and may be ended at any time in accordance with applicable employment standards. Terms and conditions of employment will be outlined in the employment agreement.
