Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Canada is looking for a dedicated Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities and companionship. You will follow individualized service plans, promote safety and dignity, and engage residents through conversations and activities.

Paid training and opportunities for career growth are offered. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain), and strong communication and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; age 18+.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Compassion, reliability and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and personal care.
• Follow ISP and document changes for residents.
• Promote safety, dignity and independence in daily activities.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and keep a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders; care for memory-impaired residents in Memory Care.
