Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Caregiver to provide resident-centered support across Canada. You will assist with daily activities, follow care plans, and promote safety and dignity while building meaningful relationships with residents and their families.

The role offers casual employment with flexible hours, paid training, and opportunities for career growth within a compassionate team dedicated to quality of life for seniors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or ability to obtain it.
• Compassion, reliability and strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and personal care.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.

Pay Range: 29.83 - 37.29

Employment Type: Casual

This position is classified as a casual role. Casual employees work on an as-needed basis with no guaranteed hours and are not considered permanent employees.
