Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months experience in a nursing unit.
• Completion of Ward Clerk Training Program preferred; grandfathering may apply with 1 year total experience.
• Criminal records checks and vulnerable sector search may be required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments/consults for patients.
• Prepare examining rooms and assist patients.
• Prepare charts and perform receptionist duties.
• Assist in Records Area and with ordering supplies.
• Process physicians' orders and related duties as assigned.
