Job summary

Jim Pattison Volvo Cars Surrey is seeking an experienced Car Sales Consultant passionate about automotive sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will guide customers through the full vehicle purchasing journey, conduct demonstrations, and structure deals with management collaboration.

The role focuses on providing a premium ownership experience, building rapport, and staying up-to-date on Volvo features and market trends in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Eligible to obtain a VSA license.
• Must be available all days of the week, including evenings and weekends. Shifts will average 40 hours per week.
• Strong work ethic with a high level of energy and motivation to succeed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer focused mindset with the ability to build rapport and trust.
• Highly organized with the ability to multi task and follow up consistently.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast paced sales environment.
• Previous sales or customer service experience is a strong asset, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers in a professional and engaging manner, both in store and through phone and online inquiries.
• Build rapport with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable vehicle options.
• Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives.
• Present pricing, financing options, and assist in structuring deals in collaboration with management.
• Maintain accurate and consistent follow up using CRM tools to manage leads and customer relationships.
• Coordinate vehicle deliveries and ensure a seamless handover experience.
• Continuously develop product knowledge and stay up to date on OEM features, technology, and market trends.
• Contribute to team success by maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
