Job summary

Ledcor is seeking a Dash 8 Captain to ensure the safe and efficient operation of Dash 8-300 aircraft across Northern Canada, based in Vancouver, BC.

The role includes pre-flight inspections, staying updated with flight information, and a commitment to customer service and safety. Candidates must have a total of 4000 flight hours, including 2500 PIC and 2000 MPIC, along with a valid Dash 8 PPC.

Job description

As a Dash 8 Captain with Summit Air, you will ensure safe and efficient operation of the aircraft while prioritizing customer service and safety.

Summit Air is headquartered in Yellowknife, NWT, and operates across Canada, specializing in passenger charters, cargo transport, and customized flight solutions.

The base for this position is located in Vancouver, BC.

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate Dash 8‑300 aircraft safely and efficiently as PIC throughout Northern Canada
• Stay current with all available flight information, including weather, applicable NOTAMs, and verify type A flight plans for accuracy
• Participate in the aircraft pre‑flight inspection and complete all post‑flight duties
