Job summary

Milton Hydro is seeking a Manager, Capital Projects & Infrastructure to lead and deliver subdivision and capital projects, coordinating with developers, municipalities, contractors, and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role emphasizes strong stakeholder management, design review, cost estimation, and long-term planning, with responsibilities spanning pre-design through construction and budget management. A relevant engineering background is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years related experience in utility, engineering, or infrastructure project management.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Skilled in contract and budget management.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end subdivision projects from agreements to energization.
• Lead capital projects from pre-design through construction, including consultant management and cost estimation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Finance to ensure alignment.
• Coordinate procurement, material planning, work orders, and contractor oversight.
• Support preparation and management of project budgets and long-term planning.
• Contribute to distribution system planning by identifying and prioritizing subdivision and capital projects.
• Troubleshoot field issues and resolve scope changes.
