Milton Hydro is seeking a Manager, Capital Projects & Infrastructure to lead and deliver subdivision and capital projects, coordinating with developers, municipalities, contractors, and internal teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Finance to ensure alignment.
• Coordinate procurement, material planning, work orders, and contractor oversight.
• Support preparation and management of project budgets and long-term planning.
• Contribute to distribution system planning by identifying and prioritizing subdivision and capital projects.
• Troubleshoot field issues and resolve scope changes.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Manager, Capital Projects & Infrastructure will lead and deliver a variety ofcapitaland subdivisionprojects. This is a dynamic role that involves working closely with developers, municipalities, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensureprojectsare executed efficiently, on time, within budget and in compliance with required standards.

KEY DUTIES

• Manage end-to-end subdivisionprojectsfrom agreements to energization, including coordination with various stakeholders including legal, developers, securities, insurance providers and inspectors.
• Leadcapitalprojectsfrom pre-design through to construction, including consultant management, design review, compliance requirements and cost estimation.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Engineering, Finance) to ensure alignment and smooth project delivery.
• Coordinate procurement, material planning, work orders, and contractor oversight.
• Support preparation and management of project budgets, prepare financial estimates, and support long-term planning of future projects.
• Contribute to distribution system planning by identifying, planning and prioritizing subdivision and capital projects.
• Troubleshoot field issues and resolve scope changes effectively.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• College diploma or degree in engineering or a related field.
• CET, P.Eng., PMP, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3-5 years related experience in utility, engineering, or infrastructure project management.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Skilled in contract and budget management.
