Job summary

Placements24 seeks a specialized Procurement Officer for Capital Equipment in Kimberley. You will manage the full procurement lifecycle, from defining requirements and supplier selection to negotiating contracts and overseeing delivery, installation, and commissioning of major plant and equipment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in capital equipment procurement, strong contract negotiation skills, and PM/risk assessment knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years in procurement with capital equipment.
• Experience managing large CAPEX projects and complex contracts.
• Strong knowledge of technical specs, PM principles, and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end procurement for capital equipment.
• Lead negotiations for pricing, terms, warranties and service agreements.
• Develop bid processes including RFPs, RFQs and tenders.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and finance.
• Oversee delivery, installation and commissioning of equipment.
