Zusammenfassung

Shepard-Martinez Construction is seeking a part-time canvasser to join our neighbourhood outreach in HRM. You will walk door-to-door in assigned areas, book in-person quote visits, and record contact details accurately on our calendar. No selling at the door and no quoting of prices.

Shifts are weekdays 3:00–7:00pm and Saturdays 10:00–4:00, about 20 hours weekly. You must be able to walk 6–8 km per shift outdoors in any weather and have reliable transportation to your area.

Qualifikationen

• 18 or older.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Able to walk 6 to 8 km a shift outdoors in any weather.
• A way to get to your assigned area (own vehicle, ride, transit, bike or walking).

Working neighbourhoods across HRM, talking to homeowners and booking in-person quote visits onto the calendar. You are not selling at the door and you never quote a price. You are booking a time for us to come and measure.

About 20 hours a week. Shifts run weekdays 3:00 to 7:00pm and Saturdays 10:00 to 4:00, and we need the same days every week rather than a different set each time. Expect to walk 6 to 8 km a shift, outdoors, in whatever the weather is doing.

Every booking is an hour of somebody's day, so real interest matters more than volume. We would rather you knocked fewer doors and booked people who actually want the work done.

What you need:

• A way to get to your assigned area. Own vehicle, a ride, transit, bike or walking all work
• No previous experience required
