Glen Arbour Golf Course in Hammonds Plains, NS, invites applications for a Bunkers (Canteen) Attendant to deliver friendly service in a fast-paced, on-course setting during the golf season.

You will take orders, serve food and beverages, handle cash at the POS, assist with inventory, verify IDs for alcohol, and keep the canteen clean and safe in compliance with Nova Scotia regulations.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service experience.
• Smart Serve certification or willingness to obtain.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Delivering friendly, personalized service to members and guests visiting the Bunkers canteen.
• Serving food and beverages while accommodating special requests, allergies, and dietary restrictions.
• Maintaining knowledge of menu offerings, daily specials, and seasonal features.
• Processing sales transactions and handling cash accurately through the POS system.
• Assisting with inventory management, stocking, and replenishment of products and supplies.
• Verifying identification and serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with Nova Scotia regulations.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming canteen environment.
• Following all food safety, sanitation, and health & safety procedures.
• Completing opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned.
• Supporting fellow team members and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Located on the course, The Bunkers Canteen serves golfers throughout the day with food, beverages, and friendly service. We're looking for energetic, dependable individuals who enjoy working with people, take pride in their work, and thrive in a team-focused environment.

Candidates must be available to work weekday mornings and afternoons.

How You'll Spend Your Day:

• Delivering friendly, personalized service to members and guests visiting the Bunkers canteen.
