Job summary

Lever, Inc. in Canada seeks a Network Recovery Senior Associate to resolve outages and restore services across complex telecommunications networks in a remote-first environment.

You will leverage optical networking, routing, and switching expertise to troubleshoot incidents and guide recovery efforts. Collaborating with customers and internal teams, you will document actions, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• At least four years of experience in a technical support role involving networking products or equivalent operational networks.
• Strong knowledge of optical networking, routing, and switching to diagnose and recover from outages.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot outages under pressure and meet restoration targets.
• Experience documenting troubleshooting steps and producing root-cause analysis reports.

Responsibilities

• Respond to critical customer cases and restore network functionality using optical networking, routing, and switching.
• Analyze outages, identify root causes, and implement effective recovery solutions while meeting restoration objectives.
• Coordinate recovery activities with customers and internal teams; provide technical guidance.
• Document actions and resolutions; prepare root cause analysis for stakeholders.
• Contribute to lessons learned and product/process improvements.
• Participate in rotating on-call weekends to support critical recovery needs.
