Jobgether presents an opportunity for an Android AI Lead Developer based in Canada. The role focuses on leading Android development, integrating AI technologies, and guiding distributed teams through architecture to deployment in a fully remote setup aligned to PDT hours.

You will drive standards, mentor engineers, and collaborate with clients to deliver reliable, user-focused mobile solutions. A strong emphasis on TDD, DDD, and cloud practices is expected.

Formación

• At least 4 years of hands-on Kotlin development experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with Jetpack Compose.
• At least 2 years of experience with Gemini, Claude, or comparable AI development tools.
• At least 3 years of experience with GWT and/or AWS cloud environments.
• Strong object-oriented design and software principles.
• Experience with TDD, DDD, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven ability to work directly with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated with leadership capabilities.
• Familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile, TypeScript, Python, or BMAD is a plus.
• Must reside in Canada; relocation not available.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical collaboration within project teams and guide engineers through the SDLC.
• Maintain high standards for code quality and governance.
• Contribute to architecture, planning, estimation, and hands-on development.
• Drive refactoring and adoption of best practices.
• Communicate decisions and progress across distributed teams.
• Own releases and support live products.
• Participate in deployment, operations, and DevOps activities.
• Clarify requirements with clients and stakeholders to meet business needs.
• Uphold professional standards and fair outcomes for customers and end users.
