Job summary

Atimi Software Inc. in Canada seeks an experienced Android AI Lead Developer with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose to guide a cross-functional team through the full mobile development lifecycle.

This is a fully remote role with PDT hours, open to candidates from all provinces, and offers engaging projects with leading North American brands. You will drive architecture, oversee code quality, collaborate with clients and team members, and contribute to DevOps practices to deliver scalable mobile

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Kotlin development experience.
• Strong object‑oriented design skills and knowledge of patterns.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose (3+ years).
• Experience with Gemini and/or Claude (2+ years).
• Experience with GWT and/or AWS cloud environment (3+ years).
• Experience with TDD and DDD methodologies.
• Experience configuring and using CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working directly with clients and stakeholders to define requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the project team to guide development across the full lifecycle.
• Ensure code quality and governance.
• Adhere to established patterns and designs with project leads.
• Plan, estimate, and contribute to architecture, coding, and development.
• Refactor and improve codebases continuously.
• Communicate technical decisions to the global team.
• Take responsibility for releases and ongoing live app support.
• Engage in deployment and operations aspects (DevOps).
• Deliver fair outcomes for customers with professionalism.
