Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Canada seeks an overnight stocking team member to assist in leadership of the overnight stocking teams and department processes. The role responds to problems, trains associates, and supports store operations as needed.

You will plan and execute department activities, respond to workload changes, and assist on the salesfloor when required.

• Overnight schedule availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing direction and coordination of task completion per priorities from the General Merchandise Coach and Store Management Team.
• Assesses overall presentation of store departments and appearance; notes deficiencies and executes merchandising display changes as needed.
• Ensures strong communication with associates; leads daily Team Huddle at shift start; provides updates, sets goals, and tracks productivity.
• Ensures high-ticket merchandise is secured; doors and lockups are secured when not in use; completes daily audits.
• Reviews completed schedules with People Lead.
• Tours areas with Coach and team to identify training opportunities; develops associates through coaching and feedback.
• Maintains a safe, clean, hazard-free environment by following company policies; completes safety logs; ensures fixtures are secure.
• Completes GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management; partners with Coach/People Lead on performance and growth conversations; supports recruiting.

Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates to validate and identify training opportunities. Develops associates through teaching and training and provides feedback as needed.7. Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.8. Complete GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management9. Partner with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations for Associates.
