Walmart Canada is seeking a front-line retail associate in Miramichi, NB to deliver exceptional customer service, promote products, and assist with merchandising and stocking. You will coordinate daily tasks with the Store Management Team and lead team huddles to align on goals and productivity.

The role includes securing high-ticket items, conducting routine audits, and supporting recruitment and training efforts.

Position Summary...

What you'll do...

• 1. Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• 2. Assists in providing direction and the co-ordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the Stocking 1 and 2 Coach and the Store Management Team.
• 3. Assesses the overall presentation of backroom and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes or stocking where required.
• 4. Ensure strong communication with associates and management with the planning meeting, lead the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift, and provide the team with updates, set goals, and track productivity.
• 5. Ensuring all high ticket merchandise is secured, all doors and lockups are secured when not in use and completing daily audits as per program.
• 6. Review completed schedules with People Lead.
• 7. Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates validate and identify training opportunities.Develops associates through teaching and training and provides feedback as needed.
• 8. Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• 9. Complete GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management
• 10. Partner with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations for Associates. Supports recruiting and hiring new associates.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $19.15.
