Position Summary: Working as a Self-Checkout Attendant at Walmart Canada is a great way to develop your skills in the retail industry. A Self-Checkout Attendant provides exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience and assists customers with processing transactions through the self-service area(s). What You'll Do:

• Keep the area neat, clean, organized, and free of fixtures, debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
• Educate customers on the correct and efficient use of self-service options when applicable.
• Promote company programs such as credit card services, product protection, and charity initiatives when applicable.
• Observe customer activities to determine when assistance is needed.
• Politely explain the reasons for interventions or quality checks, reassuring customers that these are normal procedures.
• Respond to EAS alarms and fill out the 'Failure to Deactivate' Log.
• Call the Customer Service Manager if the self-service area is low on cash or has technical issues.
• Return Scan & Go scanners to their designated area after use.

Age - 16 or older
