Position Summary: A Self-Checkout Attendant assists customers with transactions at self-service areas and provides exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience and foster customer loyalty, while adhering to Walmart's Basic Beliefs and values.

What You'll Do:

1. Maintain the area to be N.C.O. (clean, neat, organized) and free of fixtures, debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
2. Educate customers on the proper and efficient use of self-service options when applicable.
3. Promote company-sponsored programs such as credit cards, product protection, and charity initiatives when applicable.
4. Observe customer activities to determine when assistance is needed.
5. Politely explain self-service interventions and quality checks, reassuring customers that these are normal procedures.
6. Respond to EAS alarms and complete the "Failure to Deactivate" Log as needed.
7. Contact the Customer Service Manager for issues like low cash in the self-service area or technical problems.
8. Return Scan & Go scanners to their designated storage after use.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Age 16 or older.
