Job summary

Walmart Canada in Sydney, NS is seeking Remodel Hosts to guide customers around areas that have been relocated during store remodels.

You will provide exceptional customer service, help customers locate moved items, stay informed about ongoing construction, and uphold policies on damaged or recalled merchandise while supporting all New Store Programs. This is an entry-level role suitable for people who enjoy helping others in a dynamic retail environment.

• Provide excellent customer service by openly approaching customers and advising them of ongoing changes in the store.
• Guide customers to items moved to new store locations during remodels.
• Be aware of areas under construction and discuss changes with customers knowledgeably.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge about company policies regarding damaged and recalled merchandise and ensure New Store Programs are implemented.
• Assist with returning non-purchased items from the courtesy desk back to their assigned departments

What You'll Do...

• Provide excellent customer service by openly approaching customers and advising them of ongoing changes in the store.
• Support the ongoing remodel activities by providing customers with guidance to find items that have been moved to a new location in the store.
• Support the ongoing remodel activities by being aware of which areas are under construction, and speaking knowledgably with customers about the ongoing changes.
• Maintains up to date knowledge about Company policies, guidelines and processes regarding the handling of damaged and recalled merchandises and ensures all New Store Programs and systems are implemented and followed on a continuous basis.
• Assist with returning non-purchased items from the courtesy desk back to their assigned departments

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $16.90.
