Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking an Overnight Remodel Associate to support the Overnight Remodel Manager in setting standards for newly renovated departments at our Meadowvale, ON location. You will complete modulars, secure high-ticket merchandise, maintain clearance zones, unload and load fixtures, and assemble counters per print to merchandize newly set departments.

Candidates must be able to handle physical work, wear safety gear when required, and work overnight shifts.

• Age - 18 or older
• Overnight shift availability
• Ability to lift and move fixtures

Responsibilities

• Ensures high-ticket merchandise is properly secured in a designated location.
• Sets mods by printing mod sheets/labels, cleaning counters, installing ESL (where required), installing DSM, and linking mods to DSM labels (where required).
• Stocks a variety of departments including General Merchandise, Fashion, Consumables, Grocery, Dairy/Frozen, and Fresh Departments
• Follows guidelines for cold chain compliance to ensure quality assurance.
• Assists in Shrink prevention by scanning all damaged and stolen merchandise in a timely manner.
• Build new counters using kit sheets provided by the Warehouse Associates as per the print provided by the Lead Specialist.
• Move counters using the appropriate equipment.
• Merchandise endcaps, action alley, and side counters in accordance with accepted standards
• May occasionally working in construction areas, and require steel toes and a hard hat.
• Load and unload fixtures onto trucks.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.75.
