Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking an Overnight Remodel Associate in Sydney, NS to support the Overnight Remodel Manager. You will secure high-ticket merchandise, build counters, and merchandise newly set departments while following safety and cold-chain guidelines.

You will handle unloading/loading fixtures, set up mod sheets, and ensure endcaps align with standards across General Merchandise, Fashion, Grocery, and Fresh departments. Must be 18 or older and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Assist shrink prevention by scanning damaged/stolen merchandise.
• Build new counters using kit sheets and lead-provided prints.
• Move counters with appropriate equipment.
• Merchandise endcaps and displays per standards.
• Load and unload fixtures onto trucks.

Position Summary...

An overnight remodel associate works with the Overnight Remodel Manager to establish standards in newly renovated departments. They complete modulars, ensure high-ticket merchandise is secured, maintains clearance zone, unloads and loads fixtures onto trucks, builds counters according to the print, and merchandises newly set departments.

What You'll Do...

• Ensures high-ticket merchandise is properly secured in a designated location.
• Sets mods by printing mod sheets/labels, cleaning counters, installing ESL (where required), installing DSM, and linking mods to DSM labels (where required).
• Stocks a variety of departments including General Merchandise, Fashion, Consumables, Grocery, Dairy/Frozen, and Fresh Departments
• Follows guidelines for cold chain compliance to ensure quality assurance.
• Assists in Shrink prevention by scanning all damaged and stolen merchandise in a timely manner.
• Build new counters using kit sheets provided by the Warehouse Associates as per the print provided by the Lead Specialist.
• Move counters using the appropriate equipment.
• Merchandise endcaps, action alley, and side counters in accordance with accepted standards
• May occasionally working in construction areas, and require steel toes and a hard hat.
• Load and unload fixtures onto trucks.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $16.90.
