Job summary

Walmart Canada in Milton, ON is hiring a Cleaning and Maintenance Associate to participate in a structured cleaning program across the store, ensuring a clean and safe shopping and working environment.

You'll perform routine floor care, assist with equipment checks, and help maintain compliance with safety and food safety standards while supporting a cooperative team.

Starting pay is CAD 18.40 per hour, with opportunities for growth based on performance and tenure.

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
