Job summary

Walmart in Fredericton, NB is seeking a Cleaning Associate to maintain cleanliness in the Fresh Departments, including coolers, freezers and display fixtures. The role involves assisting with equipment inspections and ensuring supplies are stocked, all while upholding safety and store policies.

Day-to-day tasks include floor cleaning via mopping, sweeping or vacuuming and maintaining non-sales areas, with a minimum pay rate starting at 16.35 CAD per hour.

• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
