Job summary

Walmart in Saint John, NB is looking for a Customer Service Associate to greet customers, process purchases, and support self-checkout to enhance the shopping experience.

You will promote programs (credit card, product protection, charity initiatives), assist with bagging and loading, ensure safety and accurate cash handling, and refer complex items to a supervisor while delivering friendly, efficient service.

• Promotes company sponsor programs, ie. Credit card service, product protection and charity initiatives.
• Assists customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
• Ensures safe work practices are followed including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area.
• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings.
• Refsers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager or Front End Team Lead.
• Educating and supporting customers on the correct and efficient use of self-checkout options.
