Job summary

Walmart Canada in Slave Lake, AB is hiring a front-end customer service associate to greet customers, process transactions, and support self-checkout while promoting sponsor programs. You will assist with bagging, loading, and maintaining a safe, clean work area.

The role requires being 16 or older, handling cash with care, and referring complex items to a supervisor. Starting pay is CAD 17.15 per hour and relevant policies apply.

• Promotes company sponsor programs, ie. Credit card service, product protection and charity initiatives.
• Assists customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
• Ensures safe work practices are followed including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area.
• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings.
• Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager or Front End Team Lead.
• Educating and supporting customers on the correct and efficient use of self-checkout options.
