Job summary

Walmart Canada in Candiac, QC is seeking a Retail Associate to support and process transactions while delivering exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience. You will greet customers, handle purchases, assist with self-checkout, and help maintain store standards and safety.

This hourly position starts at 18.75 CAD per hour, with a focus on accuracy, courtesy, and effective teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment. Bilingual preferred in some locations.

• Promotes company sponsor programs, ie. Credit card service, product protection and charity initiatives.
• Assists customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
• Ensures safe work practices are followed including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area.
• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings.
• Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager or Front End Team Lead.
• Educating and supporting customers on the correct and efficient use of self-checkout options.
