Job summary

Walmart Bradford is seeking a customer-focused associate to greet customers, process purchases, and promote store programs at the front end.

You will assist with bagging, maintain cash handling integrity, support self-checkout usage, and escalate issues to a supervisor as needed. The role offers a minimum pay rate of CAD 18.10 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash accurately.
• Comfort helping customers with self-checkout options.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced front-end retail environment.

• Processes all purchase transactions in a timely and efficient manner, including deactivation of merchandise with respect to the EAS Program.
• Promotes company sponsor programs, ie. Credit card service, product protection and charity initiatives.
• Assists customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
• Ensures safe work practices are followed including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area.
• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings.
• Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager or Front End Team Lead.
• Educating and supporting customers on the correct and efficient use of self-checkout options.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.10.
