Job summary

Walmart Canada in Winkler, MB is hiring a Customer Service Associate to greet customers, process purchases quickly, and support a positive shopping experience.

You will promote services like credit card options and protection plans, assist with bagging, ensure a safe and clean workspace, and help customers at self-checkout.

Starting wage is $16.55 per hour, with opportunities to grow as you contribute to the store team.

• Greets all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
• Processes all purchase transactions in a timely and efficient manner, including deactivation of merchandise with respect to the EAS Program.
• Promotes company sponsor programs, ie. Credit card service, product protection and charity initiatives.
• Assists customers with bagging and loading of merchandise.
• Ensures safe work practices are followed including proper lifting and keeping a clean work area.
• Maintains register security and integrity through diligent cash handling, adherence to relevant company policies and awareness of surroundings.
• Refers appropriate service and transactional items to a Customer Service Manager or Front End Team Lead.
• Educating and supporting customers on the correct and efficient use of self-checkout options.
