Walmart Canada in Terrace, BC is seeking a Deli Bakery Associate to provide exemplary customer service while maintaining the Bakery and Deli areas and assisting with stocking and selling goods.

The role includes zone organization, stock rotation, accurate pricing/signage, adherence to cold chain standards, and preparation of deli and bakery items; minimum age 16 years. Hourly pay starts at $18.70.

Responsabilidades

• Zones the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organized and products are in the correct location.
• Rotates stock and checks for expired products.
• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; prepares hot food and assists customers.
• Prepares deli food orders using utensils; roasts chicken with rotisserie oven; and fills prepared side dishes for display.
• Prepares bakery merchandise by thawing and baking according to guidelines to ensure quality and visual appeal of bakery items.
• Follows procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.

Position Summary...A Deli Bakery Associate provides exemplary customer service by adhering to the basic beliefs and values of Walmart, maintains and zones the Bakery and/or Deli area, and assists with stocking and the sale of goods.What you'll do...1. Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; preparing hot food merchandise and providing requested assistance.6. Prepares deli food orders utilizing utensils; preparing chicken by using rotisserie oven; and fill prepared side dishes for placement into display area.7. Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.8.
