Job summary

Walmart Canada is seeking a Deli Bakery Associate at 4515 Dundas St, Burlington, ON L7M 5B4, Canada. You will provide attentive customer service, maintain and zone the Bakery and Deli areas, and assist with stocking and selling goods.

Responsibilities include organizing shelves, rotating stock, checking dates, ensuring accurate signage and pricing, and following food safety and cold chain procedures. Minimum age 16 or older; wage starts at $18.05 per hour.

• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates
• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; preparing hot food merchandise and providing requested assistance
• Prepares deli food orders utilizing utensils; preparing chicken by using rotisserie oven; and fill prepared side dishes for placement into display area
• Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels
