Job summary

Walmart Canada in Bradford, ON is seeking a Deli Bakery Associate to deliver exemplary customer service while maintaining and stocking the Deli and Bakery areas. You will assist with ordering, temperature control, labeling, and sign­ing for accurate shelf presentation.

Responsibilities include preparing hot and bakery items, rotisserie chicken as needed, and ensuring products are properly signed and priced. The position starts at a minimum hourly rate of $18.05 and requires 16+ years of age.

• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates, and expiration dates.
• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; preparing hot food merchandise and providing requested assistance.
• Prepares deli food orders utilizing utensils; preparing chicken by using rotisserie oven; and fill prepared side dishes for placement into display area.
• Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise.

What You’ll Do

• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.

• Takes orders for Deli Department merchandise; preparing hot food merchandise and providing requested assistance.
• Prepares deli food orders utilizing utensils; preparing chicken by using rotisserie oven; and fill prepared side dishes for placement into display area.
• Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.05.
