Job summary

Qualifications

• Certificate of Apprenticeship and Qualification in a relevant building trade, or college diploma in building systems, construction technology, facilities maintenance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive experience in building maintenance, construction, or facilities.
• Experience coordinating and supervising trades staff in high-occupancy environments is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily maintenance activities related to building envelope systems and interior finishes.
• Assign work tasks to trades staff and ensure tools, materials, and instructions are provided.
• Monitor progress to meet operational and quality standards.
• Respond to facility incidents and coordinate with Campus Housing stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and supervision to staff and ensure safety and reporting requirements.
