Job summary

The Calgary Police Youth Foundation is seeking a Campaign & Events Coordinator to help deliver fundraising campaigns and community events that impact at-risk youth.

This hands-on role requires evenings and weekends, lifting equipment up to 50 lbs, leading volunteers, and ensuring smooth event operations. You'll work with a small team to build and execute events that make a real difference in our community.

Qualifications

• Experience in event planning or volunteer coordination.
• Experience in charity/nonprofit environment is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple moving parts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate all event logistics.
• Load, transport, set up, and teardown tents, tables, signage, and supplies.
• Manage on-site operations during events.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and support volunteers.
• Contribute to post-event evaluations and reports.
• Track volunteer hours, attendance, and outcomes.
• Coordinate logistics for campaign and fundraising activities.
• Represent Calgary Police Youth Foundation at community events.
