Job summary

Arctic Arrow in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a Pre-Construction Coordinator to support the Operations team. You will help prepare planning deliverables, formalize client documentation, and coordinate resources for a smooth project start.

You will work with General Foremen, Project Managers, and Estimators to ensure thorough planning and proper documentation for a successful transition to execution. Responsibilities include drafting execution and safety plans, organizing documents, engaging

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or related trades certificate is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technologist, or PLT trades certificate is an asset.
• Experience in powerline construction or industrial construction is an asset.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Possesses valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with drafting and formalizing project-specific pre-construction deliverables in collaboration with the Operations team.
• Organize, file, and distribute project documents, drawings, and specifications for the internal project team.
• Engage with established subcontractors to secure schedule commitment and obtain pricing.
• Coordinate establishing new vendor accounts, including preparing credit application forms.
• Maintain subcontractor prequalification data and updates.
• Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate IFB drawing reviews and submissions.
• Attend and minute project kickoff and planning meetings.
• Assist with other pre-construction tasks as required.
• Travel may be required.
