As a Café Supervisor, a typical day might include the following:

  • Educating team members on delivering a five-star experience.
  • Making smoothies and preparing orders for customers in Starbucks alongside the team.
  • Maintaining inventory and replenishing supplies.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and café areas.
  • Reviewing time off requests, vacation days, and preparing Café Associate schedules.
  • Assisting with recruitment and selection of new Café Associates.
  • Planning and hosting team meetings.
  • Inspecting team performance to ensure standards are met.

To land this role you need to have:

  • 3+ years in the customer service industry.
  • At least 1+ year in the food and beverage industry as a Supervisor.
  • Barista experience is considered an asset.
  • Post-secondary education related to health and fitness, with additional certifications or workshops in customer service being assets.
  • Standard First Aid and CPR – Level C Certification prior to start date, maintained throughout employment, with annual renewal for CPR.
  • A recent Criminal Background Check prior to training or work commencement.
