Job summary

North Shore Winter Club is seeking a friendly Café Cashier to join our team. You’ll provide excellent customer service, process transactions accurately, and help keep the café running smoothly as the face of club hospitality. We’ll provide cross-training to support the Kitchen team for backup coverage.

If you’re quick, adaptable, and enjoy teamwork, we’d love to have you on our team! Hours are flexible and include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year cashier or customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Food handling certification and/or cooking skills is an asset.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Current work visa and SIN.

Responsibilities

• Take orders courteously and promptly from guest and employees.
• Process member charges and payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Perform opening and closing tasks, including end of day cash out.
• Prepare and serve both beverages and food items.
• Work with team members to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the café.
• Restock items and refill coffee machines as needed.
• Assist with basic food production or other kitchen duties when required.
