Freehand Hospitality, a member of The Armour Group, is seeking a Grab & Go Cashier for Refresh Café on the Westway Campus. You will serve guests, handle the POS, prepare beverages, and ensure accuracy and hospitality throughout the shift.

Ideal candidates bring Serve Right certification, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to multi-task in a busy café. This on-site role offers gratuities and benefits including health coverage and transit support.

Responsabilidades

• Creating a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to service steps.

• Preparing cold and hot beverages to standard.

• Monitoring food quality and presentation standards.
• Ensuring guests are satisfied with their food and service.
• Responding promptly to guest requests or concerns.
• Maintaining grab & go area cleanliness and organization.
• Following merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing grab & go products.
• Being aware of special requests, including allergies.
• Completing opening, closing and side duties efficiently and safely.
• Following all food safety standards and systems.
• Carrying out other related duties as needed.

Job Description

Under the direction of the Manager, Refresh Cafe l is looking for a Grab & Go Cashier who will be responsible for serving and cashing out guests with a smile.

What you will be doing as a Grab & Go Cashier:

• Creating a positive guest experience through interaction and adherence to the steps of service;
• Answering questions and make recommendations on food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services;
• Preparing cold and hot beverages to standard;
• Ensuring accuracy when entering information into the POS system;
• Monitoring food quality and presentation standards;
• Ensuring guests are satisfied with their food and service;
• Responding promptly and courteously to any guest request or concern;
• Monitoring the cleanliness of grab & go area and ensure all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter;
• Following standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating and storing grab & go products;
• Being aware of any special requests, inclusive of guest allergies;
• Completing opening, closing and side-duties efficiently and safely;
• Following all food safety standards and systems;
• Such other related duties and responsibilities as may be required from time to time.

The person we are looking for has:

• A valid Serve Right Certification or willingness to obtain;
• High attention to detail and cleanliness;
• Passionate about customer service;
• Ability to remain calm under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment;
• Ability to multi-task and maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum;
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to engage our guests;
• Cooking experience considered as asset;
• Experience in a similar environment considered an asset.
