Your work environment at EXP

EXP is seeking a CAD Technician for our Environmental team in Markham. The environment is fast-paced and growth-oriented, ideal for individuals who are proactive and driven to build on current successes.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Assist the Project Team with CAD skills to develop and revise plan view drawings, cross sections, and details for environmental projects under guidance from the Project Manager or Engineer.
• Geo-reference existing drawings or aerial photographs, plans, and figures.
• Develop plan view drawings based on GPS data collected in the field.
• Support project tasks, including field activities for environmental technicians and office duties such as filing and copying.
• Resolve and communicate technical issues as they arise.

What Your Experience Looks Like

• Educational background in a relevant discipline.
• Previous experience with AutoCAD software.
• Excellent communication skills—interpersonal, written, and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Technical knowledge in engineering or environmental disciplines is an asset.
• Having a vehicle is an asset.
• Knowledge and experience with ArcGIS.
