Job summary

Kubik is seeking skilled cabinetmakers/woodworkers to join our team in Mississauga. You will read blueprints, fabricate custom millwork, and assemble exhibits and fixtures for global clients.

Ideal candidates have proven cabinetmaking experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment. Overtime may be available to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

• Expert craftsmanship in cabinetmaking or woodworking.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• High attention to detail to ensure every piece is perfect.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to create custom pieces.
• Fabricate millwork, including assembling exhibits, fixtures, and displays.
• Pack and crate finished pieces for safe transport.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace and follow safety guidelines.

Our Cabinetmakers/Woodworkers are an integral part of the production team. They take active ownership and accountability for their work and excel in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.

A typical day:

• Bring Blueprints to Life: Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to create stunning, custom pieces.


• Craft Masterpieces: Fabricate custom millwork, including assembling tradeshow exhibits, retail fixtures, and museums that wow our clients.


• Pack with Precision: Package and fit out crates to ensure our creations arrive safely and in style.


• Champion Safety and Cleanliness: Contribute to maintaining a safe and clean working environment, making our workspace a place you'll love.

Who we are looking for:

• Expert Craftsmanship: Proven experience in cabinetmaking or woodworking.


• Industry Experience: Previous experience in the museum, trade show, or event industry is a plus.


• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail to ensure every piece is perfect.


• Multitasking Pro: Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with ease.


• Positive and Fun: Resourceful, positive, and enjoys having fun at work.

Hour of Work: 7:00 - 4:30
Monday - Friday
