WHAT YOU WILL DO

We are seeking a Case Pick, Machine Operator to support the CASE Pick team in our Distribution Centre (DC). This role will be crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and delivery process, with 80% of your time dedicated to case picking and 20% to pick/pack smaller items to meet customer specifications. As a Case Pick Machine Operator, you will play an essential role in maintaining operational excellence by accurately selecting products, inspecting and verifying items, and ensuring they are packed and shipped safely. Your hands-on approach, coupled with your commitment to quality and safety, will be key in delivering superior service to our customers.

WHAT YOU BRING

• You have a high attention to detail, accuracy, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• You are capable of handling physical tasks, including lifting up to 50lbs regularly.
• You have demonstrated a consistent strong aptitude in the DC and you are comfortable using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• You adhere to safety protocols and work efficiently to meet customer specifications and company standards.
• In addition to your current role, you have demonstrated a passion for distribution, seeking to expand your knowledge of distribution centre operations, interested in gaining valuable firsthand experience.
• You have routinely met or exceed defined productivity goals in your current role.
• You have been employed with Henry Schein Canada, Inc for at minimum 6-months and your performance and attendance is in good standing.
• Your favourite words are: distribution, case pick, machine operation, lifting, forklifts, pallets, safety.
• This position is based in our Niagara-on-the-Lake Distribution Centre and is working entirely onsite.
