Are you a technical problem solver who thrives on turning ideas into real-world solutions? At C&A Group, we’re looking for an Outside Sales Engineer to bridge the gap between customer challenges and custom-engineered solutions. This is a client-facing role focused on identifying customer needs, developing preliminary designs, supporting estimates, and helping bring project opportunities to life.

You’ll be part of a team that designs and delivers end-to-end custom manufacturing and processing solutions for some of the most well-known Agri-Food processors in Canada. From field to factory floor, your role starts with an idea — and ends with a well-executed project.

What You’ll Do

• Engage directly with customers to understand their technical problems and propose viable solutions
  
• Translate ideas into 2D/3D concepts (sketches, AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for review and feasibility
  
• Support or lead the preparation of estimates and technical proposals
  
• Present solutions and proposals, working closely with estimating and engineering teams
  
• Act as a subject matter expert during project startup and early design reviews
  
• Maintain strong customer relationships with follow-up and technical support
  
• Identify new project opportunities through site visits and field interactions
  
• Help improve product offerings through R&D discussions and solution development
  

What We’re Looking For

• Mechanical Engineering Background – Engineer, Engineering Technologist, Specialist
  
• 2+ years in technical sales (inside or outside), preferably in manufacturing or process systems
  
• Strong skills in communication, customer engagement, and conceptual thinking
  
• CAD experience (AutoCAD, SolidWorks); Microsoft Office proficient
  
• Experience in food processing or industrial systems is a strong asset
  
• A natural collaborator with an entrepreneurial mindset and drive for results
