The Role

We are currently seeking a By‑Hand B‑Pressure Welder to join our fabrication shop located just northeast of Fort Saskatchewan, AB. Day and Night shifts available.

Please note: This role is strictly for By‑Hand B‑Pressure Welders. Rig welders will not be considered for this position.

Compensation/Benefits
  • Competitive wage with excellent hourly compensation
  • Overtime after 8 hours per day
  • 6% vacation pay and 4% statutory holiday pay on all regular hours
  • Benefits after 90 days of employment (50% employer paid) – vision, health, dental, paramedicals, travel

Responsibilities/Duties
  • Perform by‑hand B‑Pressure welding
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Assist supervisors and co‑workers with welding‑related tasks as required
  • Grind, cut, drill, and prep materials for welding
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools in safe working condition
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of welds to meet industry standards
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow company safety procedures and best practices
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Strong knowledge of B‑Pressure welding techniques (by‑hand)

Experience/Education/Qualifications
  • Valid Journeyman Welder Certification with B‑Pressure endorsement
  • Must have prior by‑hand B‑Pressure welding experience
  • Previous experience in fabrication shop and/or field work
  • CSTS 2020 Fundamentals (including WHMIS 2015)
  • May be required to complete a pre‑access drug and alcohol test for certain sites
  • Must have or be willing to obtain necessary site‑specific safety tickets and orientations
  • Class 5 driver’s license with reliable transportation
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada
