About the Role

We seek top talent for our Infrastructure division, focusing on transit and transportation projects such as roads, bridges, airports, and transit systems. As a Buyer, you will support operational procurement, improve supply chain performance, and contribute to project success within Ontario.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Supply Chain Lead in achieving objectives
  • Manage supply chain activities within Ontario
  • Assist in procurement strategies for bids and projects
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives
  • Ensure safety, sustainability, and compliance in supply chain activities
  • Support site-level procurement needs
  • Develop procurement strategies and schedules
  • Monitor delivery performance and report on progress
  • Analyze quotations and tenders
  • Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Coordinate with stores, site teams, and suppliers
Qualifications
  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • SCMA/CIPS qualification is an asset
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in procurement, preferably in construction or related industries
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, market conditions, and tender practices
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
