Job description

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

• Sourcing and purchasing materials, equipment, and tools
• Negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships
• Working closely with the Purchasing Manager to analyze new suppliers, RFPs and quotes
• Monitoring inventory levels and adjusting orders based on project needs
• Ensuring procurement activities comply with company policies and regulations
• Maintaining accurate records and conducting cycle accounts
• Working cross-functionally with Material Handlers and other departments on-site

REQUIREMENTS :

• 3+ years of experience as a Buyer in manufacturing, construction and / or other related industries
• Attention to detail and comfortable with numbers
• Strong communication and able to work with multiple stakeholders
• A post-secondary degree would be a strong asset
• As this position requires involvement with production and visiting multiple sites on-premises, the candidate must physically able to walk 10,000 steps per day

COMPENSATION

• 65,000 – $75,000 depending on experience
