SECURE in Edmonton is seeking a Scale Operations Administrator / Buyer to support a metals recycling facility. You will develop knowledge in scrap purchasing software, weigh trucks, create bills of lading, and manage scale tickets while coordinating with dispatch, drivers and a logistics team.

The role is full-time, based at our South Edmonton facility with Monday to Friday hours and rotating Saturdays. You will handle inquiries on scrap pricing, inspect loads for non-metallics and hazards, and

• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and data, including Microsoft Excel.
• Administration experience is preferred.
• Must be self-motivated and able to function in a fast-paced exciting team environment.
• Must be able to conduct physical tasks, including climbing up on trucks to inspect loads.
• Previous metal recycling experience would be an asset.
• Previous scale attendant experience would be an asset.

Your Opportunity at SECURE

As our Scale Operations Administrator / Buyer, you will be responsible for performing a broad range of functions in support of the efficient and effective operation of a metals recycling facility.

This role is based out of our South Edmonton facility.

Work Environment

This is a full time Monday to Friday role with rotating Saturdays.
