Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Buyer to join our client's procurement team within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships, with a strong understanding of manufacturing supply chains and cost control strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and procure raw materials, components, and services to support production schedules.
• Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, or invoicing.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier contracts.
• Support cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of purchasing experience, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of automotive quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949) is a plus.
