Dakota Dunes Resort is opening the Dakota Dunes Thermal Spa and seeking a Busser and Food Runner to support dining-room operations in the Prairie Rose Kitchen and Red Willow Café. You will deliver dishes, reset tables, stock supplies, and assist the service team while maintaining a polished dining environment.

The role requires strong teamwork, communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting.

Position Overview

The Busser and Food Runner support efficientdining-room operations through accurate food delivery, table maintenance,resetting, stocking, and responsive assistance to the service team in thePrairie Rose Kitchen and Red Willow Café. This position helps maintain apolished, clean, and calm dining environment consistent with the thermal spaexperience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliverfood promptly and accurately to the correct table and seat using approvedservice procedures.
• Confirmdish names and communicate allergy or special-order information according toprocedure.
• Clear usedservice ware discreetly and reset tables quickly and consistently.
• Maintainwater, service stations, cutlery, glassware, napkins, condiments, and othersupplies.
• SupportServers with guest requests and communicate needs promptly.
• Maintaincleanliness of tables, chairs, floors, service stations, and high-touch diningareas.
• Assistwith grab-and-go, group, event, and closing duties as assigned.
• Handle hotplates, glassware, trays, and equipment safely.
• Followfood safety, sanitation, spill response, and occupational safety procedures.
• Movequietly and professionally through guest areas and avoid unnecessarydisruptions.
• Immediatelycommunicate spills, breakage, hazards, or guest concerns to the appropriate staffmember.
• Acknowledgeguests warmly and respond helpfully when approached.
• Workproactively with Servers, Hosts, Kitchen and Bar to keep service flowing.
• Protectthe relaxed atmosphere of the spa while maintaining urgency behind the scenes.
• Assistwith server, host, busser, and food-runner training and mock services.
• Assistwith stocking, polishing, organization, and setup.
• Participatein mock service and dining-room setup training.
• Befamiliar with table numbers, seat positions, menu items, allergy communication,service sequence, sanitation standards, and back-of-house traffic routes.
• Completeassigned opening, side, and closing duties.

Qualifications

• Previousexperience in a restaurant or customer service is preferred.
• Strongteamwork and communication skills

• Positiveand professional attitude.
• Serve ItRight Saskatchewan (SIRS) certification is an asset.
• Safe FoodHandling Certification is an asset.

• Minimum 19years of age.
• Ability towork flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shiftsas required.
