Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking a UAT Lead to partner with Business, Trading, Operations, Risk, and Technology to validate requirements across Repo and Collateral Management workflows.

You will define the UAT strategy, create end-to-end test scenarios, execute tests, and report risks to support a smooth go-live. Experience in financial services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Business, Trading, Operations, Risk, and Technology to validate requirements and acceptance criteria across Repo and Collateral Management workflows.
• Define the UAT-Business Testing strategy plan aligned to release goals.
• Create end-to-end business test scenarios, detailed test cases, and a traceability matrix.
• Perform test data preparation validation and reconcile results for accuracy.
• Execute UAT in designated environments, report progress and risks.
• Log, track and manage defects with DevQA for timely fixes and retesting.
• Validate collateral management functions including margins, eligibility rules, and substitutions.
• Validate repo trade lifecycle scenarios including capture, amendments, and settlements.
• Coordinate with custodian teams for settlement reconciliation.

Role Description:

1. Partner with Business, Trading, Operations, Risk, and Technology teams to validate requirements, user journeys, and acceptance criteria across Repo and Collateral Management workflows.
2. Define the UAT-Business Testing strategy plan (scope, approach, entry exit criteria, responsibilities, assumptions, and constraints) aligned to release goals.
3. Create end-to-end business test scenarios, detailed test cases, and a traceability matrix to ensure full coverage of functional and process requirements.
4. Perform test data preparation validation, including data tracing mapping across upstream downstream systems, and reconcile results to ensure accuracy and completeness.
5. Execute UAT Business Testing in UAT environments, capture test evidence, and provide progress reporting with clear visibility of risks, blockers, and dependencies.
6. Log, track, and manage defects (severity priority), drive defect triage, and coordinate with DevQA to ensure timely fixes and retesting through closure.
7. Validate key Collateral Management functions such as margin calls, eligibility rules, haircuts, concentration limits, substitutions, disputes, and collateral optimization outcomes.
8. Validate Repo trade lifecycle scenarios including trade capture, amendments, cancellations terminations, rollovers, rate resets, settlement instructions, and confirmations (front-to-back).
9. Perform operational validations for settlement reconciliation (securities borrowing lending, cashFX settlements, payment flows), and coordinate with custodian’s brokers internal teams to resolve breaks.
10. Produce UAT deliverables such as UAT exit report, sign-off readiness notes, and lessons learned support go-live warranty and maintain Sops process documentation for continuity

Salary Range - CA$ 100,000 - CA$ 120,000 Per annum
