Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is hiring a QA/QE professional to join our testing team in Toronto. The role covers domain knowledge in retail banking, mobile and web testing, UX testing, and API testing, with automation using Selenium, Appium, and Robot Framework.

You will write and execute automated test cases, build object repositories, and collaborate with developers using Git, Jira, Confluence, and other Agile QA tools. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field.
• 5–8 years of QA/QE experience.
• Experience with automation testing and API testing.

Role Description:

• Domain Knowledge Retail banking, mobile testing, web-based testing, UX testing, API testing, Accessibility.
• Technical Skills Automation frameworks, tools, and libraries Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, Junit.
• Version control systems for code management, eg. Git Writing and executing automation test cases, custom functions, building object repositories for web and native page elements.
• Web technologies HTML, CSS, web services. Basic knowledge of databases and SQL queries. API testing and virtualization Education
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience
• Tools Experienced in the following Robot Framework, Appium, Selerum scripting, Playwright or Cypress Proficient with RestAPI, Para soft, or other API testing and virtualization tools for API QA GitHub Copilot or other Gen Al-based tools.
• Git Jira, Confluence, and or other similar Agile, development, and QA tools.
• Parasoft, Rest APl, andor other API testing and virtualization tools.
• Other Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Problem-solving skills and ability to resolve operational or process issues
• Ability to identify and implement continuous improvements in testing processes. Experience 5-8 years of experience in QAQE, Good years of experience in development.

Salary Range - CA$ 80,000 - CA$ 100,000 Per Year
